Butterfly Hair/Shawl Pin - Cork with Wire Stick

The light weight cork fabric has a slight stretch which enables it to fit a variety of hair and hand-crafted projects well. Choose from small, large, or both. The message could be 'Small in pearl and large in natural with silver.' or 'Large =nat w/silver, Small = pearl.'

This Small is 2 x 2 3/4 inches. The Large is 3 x 4 inches. The small is best suited to fine hair or projects with lace-sport weight yarn. The large is best suited to medium-thick hair, larger fingering weight projects, or projects with sport-bulky yarn.

Each Hair/Shawl Pin is crafted with Cork Fabric, metal eyelets, and enameled copper wire stick. Cork is a renewable fair trade resource. It is a great lightweight and vegan alternative to leather. The woven backing feels soft against the skin. It can be hand washed with water or a mild detergent and laid flat to dry. The cork surface easily wipes clean with a damp towel. Cork is a bark that is harvested and then re-grows for a few years before being harvested again. 

The words decorating this cuff are laser etched. It may smell faintly of wood smoke. The smell will dissipate within a couple of days. It can be rinsed under water and laid flat to dry if desired.
