This video shows how to put on and adjust a Charmed Shawl Pin so that it fits any thickness of yarn just right.
For thin items the pin stays in place best when it is more flat.
To fit thicker items gently press down at the ends and up in the middle. This gives the pin more depth to fit on thicker yarn or more layers.
