Tip Tuesday Cable Cast on With A Twist-Crafty Flutterby Creations

This cast on technique has a good balance of stretch and stability. It is great for vest edges, arm holes, sock cuffs, and any pattern that does not start with lace stitches.

A few of my patterns that start off with this cast on include...

Which one will you cast on first?

I have a question about a pattern I purchased of your on Ravelry. I bought the pattern Create Joy. I have started the project now 3 times and I am doing something terribly wrong. it the end result suppose to be a basic seed stich pattern. Also the increase stitches….are they the normal increase, lift the bar from previous stitch and increase. Also it says slip stitch purwise, it that with yarn in front or back.
